Job Description
Responsibilities
- Shadow Project Managers, Project Engineers, Field Service and Subsea Engineers to gain a fundamental understanding of the operation, inspection and repair of Capital Drilling Equipment.
- Physically participate in carrying out various processes to gain a fundamental understanding of how these are performed.
- Manage projects from inception through to delivery, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, initially with assistance of management but ultimately unaided. This will include, but will not be limited to quotation, project execution, procurement, logistics, resource planning, scheduling, reporting, inspection report review, databook generation and submission, oversight, manufacture, quality control and project closeout.
- Responsible for Project Execution phase. This will include, but will not be limited to:Review the scope of work against the contract and generate a work plan (Quality Control Plan).
- Work with operations manager to identify project team.
- Purchase any tooling or specialized equipment & materials required to execute scope of work.
- Draft a schedule and review with management
- Brief project team and carry out mobilization meeting.
- Work with Supervisor and Operations manager to execute scope of work.
- Monitor project progress and report to management & customer as required.
- Monitor project execution and ensure compliance with company procedures, work instructions, and contractual obligations.
- Flag any issue and notify management
- Review and complete project reports and databook
- Track Project finances and monitor profitability
- Responsible for Project Completion and Closeout. This will include, but will not be limited to:
- Assist finance department with invoicing.
- Conduct After Action Review and note lessons learned and room for improvement.
- Assist to close out any outstanding documentation per company requirements

Skills & Experience:
The following are mandatory:
- Ability to take proactive approach to project execution, troubleshooting, problem solving.
- Experience in a similar industry, with exposure to Project Management and Project Execution.
- Good English written and verbal communication
- Competent in Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and good computer literacy
The following are advantageous, but not mandatory:
- Experience managing Projects in Oil and Gas Industry
- Experience conducting or Supervising Non-Destructive Testing, and other Inspection Work
- Valid Passport & Real ID
- Experience with Hydrojet Cleaning, Visual Inspection, Pressure Testing, Non-Destructive Examination, Coating, Power Tools
