Job Description
Responsibilities
- Follow directions of the Supervisor & Lead Technician.
- Review the Project Quality Control Plan and ensure familiarity with the work instruction/procedures.
- Carry out work in accordance with company Work Instructions.
- Work with hand tools in the disassembly, preparation, inspection, reassembly, and testing of Subsea Equipment.
- Ensure that teammates are working safely, report unsafe behaviour to Supervisor.
- Conduct NDT Testing on behalf of the Company, if qualified.
- Carry out a variety of work in the field and in country, as directed.
- Carry out equipment set up, packing, repair, maintenance.
- Assist in carrying out disassembly and repair of capital drilling equipment.
- Complete training as required.
Skills & Experience
The following are mandatory:
- Ability to safely use typical hand tools used in the offshore industry.
- Mechanical skills in the disassembly of Subsea Equipment or other large equipment of a similar nature.
- Experience in similar Inspection & Maintenance facilities.
- Experience with rigging / operating lifting equipment.
The following are advantageous, but not mandatory:
- Good level of English, both written and oral.
- An good knowledge of the MS Office suite, including Word and Excel to.
- Experience working offshore on Drilling Rigs or Production Platforms.
- Forklift certification
- Experience conducting or Supervising Non-Destructive Testing
- Valid Passport & Real ID
- Experience with Hydrojet Cleaning, Visual Inspection, Pressure Testing, Non-Destructive Examination, Coating, Power Tools
