Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Follow directions of the Supervisor & Lead Technician.
  • Review the Project Quality Control Plan and ensure familiarity with the work instruction/procedures.
  • Carry out work in accordance with company Work Instructions.
  • Work with hand tools in the disassembly, preparation, inspection, reassembly, and testing of Subsea Equipment.
  • Ensure that teammates are working safely, report unsafe behaviour to Supervisor.
  • Conduct NDT Testing on behalf of the Company, if qualified.
  • Carry out a variety of work in the field and in country, as directed.
  • Carry out equipment set up, packing, repair, maintenance.
  • Assist in carrying out disassembly and repair of capital drilling equipment.
  • Complete training as required.

Skills & Experience

The following are mandatory:

  • Ability to safely use typical hand tools used in the offshore industry.
  • Mechanical skills in the disassembly of Subsea Equipment or other large equipment of a similar nature.
  • Experience in similar Inspection & Maintenance facilities.
  • Experience with rigging / operating lifting equipment.
